Matthew D. Deliberato was born and raised in Garfield Heights, OH. He attended St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and was graduated from the Loyola University, Chicago. He began his professional career as a fourth generation Funeral Director with his parents at the Golubski Deliberato Funeral Home. After one short year, he returned to school at the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He started the firm in 1999.
Matthew’s practice is focused on estate planning that incorporates wills, trusts, powers of attorney for administration and healthcare to protect the assets of an individual that have been earned over a lifetime. His elder law practice counsels clients on how to plan for nursing home care and how to establish successful Medicaid planning strategies.
The firm conducts Estate Planning Workshops and individual meetings on a regular basis to keep current clients informed of changes in the law and to teach the community about careful legal/financial planning.
As a devoted member of his community, he has served as a Governor appointed Board Member for the Garfield Heights Financial Oversight Committee, as Treasurer of St. Therese/SS. Peter and Paul Federal Credit Union, as a Board Member on the Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce, and is a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Matt is currently serving as a Board Member of the Marymount Childcare Center, a member of the Northeast Ohio Planned Giving Commission of the American Cancer Society, and an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 385.
Kelly C. Delaney was born in Euclid Ohio and was raised in Novelty, Ohio. She attended John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She graduated on the Dean’s List from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2003, and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2003.
Prior to joining The Deliberato Law Center, LLC, Kelly practiced law in the area of Real Estate Tax where she effectively advocated for reductions in real estate tax valuations for property owners before multiple county boards of revision and participated in the presentation at a Real Property Law Forum CLE on the topic of Real Estate Tax Valuation. Further, Kelly also worked at a general practice law firm handling Divorce/Dissolution, Bankruptcy and Personal Injury matters.
Today, as an Associate Attorney at The Deliberato Law Center, LLC, Kelly concentrates her practice on estate planning that incorporates: Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney for administration and healthcare, Medicaid Planning and Asset Protection, and Probate Estate and Trust administration.
Kelly advocates for her clients’ needs by assisting them in achieving their Estate Planning needs and goals with dignity and respect. Kelly also assists families in navigating and resolving any issues that arise when a loved one passes away.
Kelly currently resides in Euclid with her husband, Tim Delaney. They are active members of the Irish American Club – East Side where they volunteer, chair and attend many events. Kelly was a Precinct Committee Person and Executive Committee Member for her ward in the City of Euclid. Kelly participates in Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and participated in and successfully completed the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk in 2008 and 2009 as a fundraiser and as a walker.
Karen was born in Garfield Heights Ohio and raised in Maple Heights, Ohio. Prior to joining The Deliberato Law Center, LLC. she was the General Manager of The Ohio News Bureau and Michigan Press Reading Service. She served as the Secretary on the board of the NACPCS for two years.
Karen’s current position is the Client Service Coordinator and Office Manager. Her main focus is on supporting the staff and clients of the firm.
Karen currently resides in Walton Hills with her husband James Robison. She has three children Michelle (Hector), Jeffrey (Beatriz), Jake and one granddaughter Sophia. Karen enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
